It has been several years since the cancellation of our very favorite animation series ‘Dragon Ball Z’.  Of course, we all are missing Goku and other characters of Dragon Ball Z TV show!

Well, I have found a way to fade away the frustration which comes to one’s mind when his/her favorite series is off air. I usually play the video games based on Dragon Ball Z TV show so that I can memorize the days when we used to watch Dragon Ball Z episodes on TV. It gives relaxation to one’s perplexed mind and refreshes it to act more brilliantly.

Yesterday, it was Sunday so I had nothing to do. When it became hard to kill the time, I decided to play a Dragon Ball Z game so switched on my laptop. I checked on several websites but didn’t find any new game of Dragon Ball Z. Ultimately, I though to go with Dragon Ball Z: Sagas. The game was released in 2005 by Avalanche Studios and was published by Atari. The game has three basic fighting styles: Melee, Combo, and Ki with each its own features.

Dragon Ball Z: Sagas has nineteen levels in it which are next split into the sagas. The sagas are: Saiyan saga, Namek saga, Frieza saga, Yardrat saga, Trunks saga, Android saga, and the Cell Games saga. In all levels of the game, the player must complete many quests, arrange upgrades, fight with the enemies and kill the culprits. Among the main characters of the game are: Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo and Future Trunks etc.

The fans of Dragon Ball Z welcomed the game with open arms. Though several Dragon Ball Z games have been released after it, craze for Dragon Ball Z: Sagas is still in the air. The reason behind so is that the game is very unique and so entertaining that one can’t get up from his seat before completing the game.

It will all about Future Trunk’s timeline, where you have the challenge to stop Babidi and Debura from resurrecting Majin Buu.

In this game version, Future Trunks meets Kibito and Kai in an attempt to prevent resurrection of Buu. He knows that he can’t do it all alone, so he decides to get help from past Z-Fighters. He saves the time machine and requests Goku and the gang to help him.

Now the actual fight begins when Babidi creates clones of Z-Fighters, Frieza and Cell to stop the gang. Once again Vegeta got trapped into Babidi’s spell, but Goku managed to bring him back to his senses. This cause Buu too, to get revived and he refuses to listen to instructions of Babidi. So Babidi leaves Buu in Dabura’s care and tries to use dragon balls to control Buu. The Z-fighters burst his plans. Meanwhile, Buu and Hercule become friends and as Debura hurts him, Buu converts into Super Buu and eats Dabura. Here, Goku also meets his father from past, when the future Gohan gets alive.

Now the game arrives at the issue of Dragon Ball Z, as first Janemba stole them and later Babidi stole the balls. This wish making game through dragon balls will keep you confused. As you have to prevent the wrong person’s wish from coming true.

Now, if you choose another path then you will see, Buu absorbs Gotenks and Past Gohan, but unlike the past fusion, Gogeta successfully rescues both of them. I think, if you want to beat in the first attempt, then you need to go through three Sagas, ‘Majin Buu Saga’, ‘Fusion Saga’ and ‘Kid Buu Saga’. Believe me! The series is a continuation of the original Dragon Ball. Goku, a Youngman lives on earth along with his wife and son. Goku and his friends are settled into their own lives.

Everything looks very peaceful, before Raditz, Goku’s brother traveled to Earth to find out that why Goku has not yet destroyed the earth as he was asked to do and how did he forget his real mission in life? Then, Goku learns that he has come from another planet and he battles his brother Raditz along with Piccolo and Kurilin.

Gohan, Goku’s son, after revealing his super powers kills Raditz. Even at the end, Goku is also killed. Radritz, before his death, tells Goku that two evil super powers that are more powerful than him (Radritz) are on route to earth.
